Permission Description: Location and Background Operation
To enable core functionality of ZFINDER++—including pairing with Bluetooth anti-loss devices and maintaining connectivity—the app requires access to your device’s location services. This is mandated by Android’s Bluetooth scanning requirements, which necessitate location permission to detect nearby Bluetooth devices. Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Additionally, the app may operate in the background to ensure continuous device tracking and alert functionality (e.g., separation alerts).
Notification Bar Permission
ZFINDER++ requests notification bar access to maintain stable Bluetooth communication when running in the background. This permission enables the app to display persistent notifications, which prevent the operating system from terminating background processes—ensuring reliable anti-loss alerts and device reconnection capabilities.
